Join us for this special public program in conjunction with our exhibition Jeffrey Gibson: This Is The Day. The artist Jeffrey Gibson will be joined by Tracy L. Adler, Johnson-Pote Director of the Ruth and Elmer Wellin Museum of Art at Hamilton College, and Veronica Roberts, Curator of Modern and Contemporary Art, Blanton Museum of Art.

Jeffrey Gibson will be signing purchased books outside the auditorium after the talk. The catalogue for ’Jeffrey Gibson: This Is the Day’ and ’Like A Hammer’ will be available for purchase in the Museum Shop and on the second floor of the Smith Building prior to the talk.

TICKET POLICY:
Online pre-sale tickets are sold out.

Additional tickets will be available for walk-ups on a first-come, first-served basis at 5 p.m. on July 12, 2019, in the lobby of the Smith Building (where the café and museum shop are located, across the plaza from the museum entrance).

Tickets are $12. Free for Blanton Members and UT students, faculty, and staff. Tickets for the talk include museum admission. The museum will remain open until 8:00 p.m.

Unclaimed online tickets will be resold to the walk-up line at 5:45 p.m. on July 12, 2019.

This event will take place in the auditorium, located in the Smith Building (directly across from the museum entrance).

The Blanton is located at the intersection of Congress Avenue and Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard. Paid parking is available in the Brazos Garage on Brazos Street and Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard. Parking is $4; bring your ticket with you to the museum.
