Why do some paintings evoke certain emotions? What can a vase or an altarpiece reveal about a moment in history? Where do art and science overlap?
Education programs at the Blanton are designed to encourage cultural exchange, self-discovery, and dialogue through an inquiry-based approach to gallery teaching.
From K-12 student tours exploring art and ideas to teacher workshops on how to integrate museum visits into curricula, the Blanton invites you to explore how art can enhance everyday life. On the university level, both students and faculty have opportunities to participate in museum programming as well as pursue academic enrichment and collaboration.
Support for education programs at the Blanton is provided by The Brown Foundation Inc. Education Endowment and an anonymous donor.
