The Blanton is dedicated to working with university faculty to create unique learning experiences for students and to provide access to information and resources for both.
Building Bridges Across Disciplines
The Blanton is the principal home for works of art at the University of Texas. The museum's diverse collections and campus location make it a fantastic resource for every campus department. Faculty in disciplines ranging from Astronomy, History, Latin American Studies, Mathematics, Music, Political Science, Religion, Social Work, and Spanish and Portuguese regularly use the Blanton as a classroom resource.
Whether you would like to schedule an introductory class visit to the museum, design an in-depth class visit based on a particular exhibition, artist, or artwork, or if you have an innovative idea for collaboration, Blanton staff will work closely with faculty to build strong, creative connections between curriculum and current exhibitions.
