Blanton Museum of Art
Education Programs

The Blanton's remarkable collections and its location on a major university campus make the museum a central hub for learning and dynamic cultural exchange in our city, state, and region.

The Blanton is passionate about increasing art awareness and appreciation by providing engaging programs, events, and tours for educators, students, faculty, and the general public. Through these programs, we invite our visitors to make lifelong connections with art.

The Blanton's K-12 programs range from student tours exploring art and ideas to teacher workshops on how to integrate museum visits into core curricula. On the university level, both students and faculty have opportunities to participate in museum programming as well as pursue academic enrichment and collaboration.

The Blanton also offers a wide variety of public programs to choose from — everything from Artistic License, where artists discuss their work, to B scene, a lively celebration of art and music held on the first Friday of every month.

Education programs at the Blanton receive support from the Brown Foundation, Inc. Education Endowment.
