The museum offers themed tours on the collection and special exhibitions every Saturday and Sunday at 3 PM, every Thursday at 12:30 PM, Third Thursdays at 7:30 PM, and during B scene.
Bach Cantata Project
Take a little time out of your day to experience the joy of listening to beautiful music in the soaring space of the Blanton's atrium. The Bach Cantata Project is a joint venture of UT 's Butler School of Music Choral Program and the Blanton. Performances include a tour of a related artwork in the museum's galleries. UT Faculty Chamber Ensemble
The UT Faculty Chamber Ensemble is held Sunday afternoons at 2 PM throughout the fall and spring semesters.
Perspectives
Gain more insight into our special exhibitions with these educational lectures led by experts from academia and other arts–related fields. These programs also include other thought-provoking events, such as special public tours and other lectures.
Third Thursdays (5 - 9PM)
A monthly event that features extended hours and multiple programs, including artist talks and screenings; *Yoga in the Galleries (6:30PM); the Blanton Book Club (7PM) , which makes connections between specific books and works of art in the collection or special exhibition; and tours. The Blanton Cafe and Museum Shop are open until 9PM on Third Thursdays. Enjoy an extended happy hour in the Cafe featuring a glass of wine and slice of gourmet pizza for $5.
*All levels are welcome to Yoga in the Galleries (please wear appropriate clothing). Space is limited. Please show up early as class starts promptly at 6:30.

Classes and Workshops
The Blanton's classes and workshops offer participants an in-depth look at a specific area of the permanent collection or a special exhibition. Some classes highlight current issues in art history, others encompass other areas such as literature. Ranging from a half day to six weeks, classes and workshops are taught by UT faculty, museum curators, and guest scholars and artists.
