The Blanton welcomes you to host events, ranging from festive receptions to exclusive black-tie dinners, in the Michener Gallery Building and Smith Building.
Corporate entertaining opportunities for Corporate Sponsors are determined as part of a tailored sponsorship package developed by the Blanton in collaboration with the sponsor.
The Blanton also offers rental opportunities to private clients at the rental rates listed below.

Spaces and rates available for rental in the Blanton's Michener Gallery Building or Smith Building include:
- Meadows Classroom
The Meadows Classroom in the Smith Building is suited for small group meetings, seminars, or retreats during regular business hours. The room comes equipped with A/V capabilities, moveable tables and chairs, a whiteboard and vinyl flooring.
In-house catering is available. - Capacity for seated meeting: 16

UT Departments and Colleges Rental Rate: $250 - Capitol Room
The Capitol Room in the Smith Building features prominent views of the Texas State Capitol Building and is ideally suited as a conference room, lecture hall, or private reception space. The room comes equipped with A/V capabilities, a digital projector, moveable chairs with tablet arms, a whiteboard and carpeted flooring.

UT Department and Colleges Rental Rate: $500 - Blanton Auditorium
The Blanton Auditorium in the Smith Building may be privately rented for special speaker engagements, panel presentations, and film screenings. No food or beverage permitted inside auditorium. The auditorium comes equipped with A/V capabilities with rear digital projection, film screen, and built in seats with tablet arms. - Capacity: 299

UT Department and Colleges Rental Rate: $500 - Joe R. and Theresa Lozano Long Grand Foyer
The Long Grand Foyer in the Smith Building is ideally suited to evening private receptions up to 200 guests, or intimate seated dinners under 100. - Rental Rate: $2,500
UT Department and Colleges Rental Rate: $1,500 - Mezzanine
The Mezzanine in the Smith Building is ideal for use as a reception space in conjunction with an auditorium program. It features beautiful views of the Faulkner Plaza and the Michener Gallery Building. - Capacity: 150
Rental Rate: $1,000 - Blanton Cafe
The Blanton Cafe in the Smith Building is suitable for informal meetings or groups during business hours. Group dining options available for tour and school groups. The Blanton Café is available for facility rental for private events after hours. No outside food or beverage permitted. - Capacity: 88
- Osborne Seminar Room and Foyer
The Osborne Seminar Room in the Michener Gallery Building is ideally suited for small, special engagements such as board meetings and lectures. The room comes equipped with eight moveable tables and 20 chairs, a projection screen, floor outlets, and a multi-line telephone with teleconferencing capability.
Although no food is allowed in the Osborne Seminar Room, the foyer, an open area just outside the Osborne Seminar Room, is perfect for hosting receptions in conjunction with engagements in the Osborne Seminar Room. The foyer features a rotating exhibition of works from the Blanton collection of prints and drawings.
The Osborne Seminar Room and Foyer are only available for rental during the museum's normal hours of operation. - Capacity for seated meeting: 16

UT Departments and Colleges Rental Rate: $500 - Rapoport Atrium
This elegant space with its soaring 50-foot ceiling and spectacular saw-toothed skylights serves as the centerpiece of the museum. Whether you wish to host a black-tie dinner or a grand reception, the Rapoport Atrium will make a lasting impression for every attendee. Rental of this space includes access to galleries on the first floor of the Michener Gallery Building except during exhibition installation. - Capacity for reception: 300

UT Departments and Colleges Rental Rate: $5,000 - Michener Gallery Building
In addition to the Rapoport Atrium, the Michener Gallery Building includes 35,500 square feet of exhibition space located on two floors. In 27 spacious to intimate gallery rooms, the Blanton displays an impressive variety of art sure to engage and delight all who attend your event. - Capacity for reception: 500+

UT Departments and Colleges Rental Rate: $6,000
Please note:
- Food and drink is limited to the Rapoport Atrium and Osborne Seminar Room Foyer.
- No food or drink is permitted in the galleries or the Osborne Seminar Room.
- All entertaining privileges are subject to additional fees and availability, and listed rental rates are applicable to 2009-10 only.
- To receive special rental rates, UT Departments and Colleges must pay rental fees using an Inter-Departmental Transfer.

- No political or fundraising events.
- No products, services, or tickets may be sold at the museum in conjunction with an event, nor may any products be displayed.
The Blanton offers exclusive catering through Flik Fare, provides an extensive preferred vendors list, and an experienced special events staff to help plan your event.
