On Saturday, February 11, the Blanton Museum of Art hosted its 2017 gala, honoring Jeanne and Michael L. Klein and celebrating the reopening of the museum’s reinstalled permanent collection galleries.
This historic evening celebrated the unveiling of the museum’s renovated and reinstalled permanent collection galleries. Gala guests had the exclusive opportunity to preview the dynamic new presentation and enjoyed a lively and elegant evening in the galleries. The Gala also recognized the continuous passion, energy, and generosity of National Leadership Board members Jeanne and Michael L. Klein. Their dedication has helped transform the Blanton into the distinguished museum it is today and continues to inspire others.
The black-tie event was attended by more than 400 supporters of the museum, and the event raised over $1 million, providing essential funding for the Blanton’s wide-ranging exhibitions and educational programs.
