School’s out, summer’s heating up, and it’s time to find summer activities to fill up those long, hot afternoons. Luckily, the Blanton’s education team has created a lineup of engaging programs for children and families of all ages that make our museum come alive.

“We design our family programs to promote slowing down, encourage close looking, inspire curiosity, and foster positive interaction and collaboration between children and adults,” says Monique O’Neil, the Blanton’s Museum Educator of Family & Community Programs. “There’s something for everyone and every family at the Blanton this summer, from art-making to literary adventures through the museum to guided conversations about art.”

Below check out this summer’s Family Programs, which will continue through the last week of July.

Programs are included with museum admission, which is free for all children under 12. All children participating in the programs must be accompanied by an adult.
