Virtual Groundbreaking Celebration: The New Grounds Initiative

This free, completely online celebration kicks off construction of the new museum grounds! Learn about new architectural features, performance spaces, landscaping, and more. Featuring:

• a project preview and Q&A with the Snøhetta architects
• a performance by Jackie Venson
• the world premiere of the song ’It’s Good to Be Human’ by Shinyribs
• a one-of-a-kind groundbreaking ceremony featuring Austin artists and leaders, and members of the Blanton and UT communities
