This lecture will explore the political, social, and juridical power of female portraiture beyond its performance of piety. Our visiting speaker for this event is Dr. Cristina Cruz Gonzalez, Associate Professor of Art History, Oklahoma State University. It will take place in our Capitol Room, located across the plaza in our Smith Building.
