Enjoy bites from El Alma Cafe, music by GirlFriend ATX, treats from Lick Honest Ice Creams, drinks, prizes, and a special chance to explore the new exhibition “Jeffery Gibson: This Is the Day.”
In This Is the Day, Gibson draws on his queer identity and Cherokee and Choctaw heritage to make exuberant works that celebrate and explore identity. Weaving together references to drag and ball culture, high fashion, Native American forms, and pop culture, Gibson creates powerful assertions of inclusivity.
Free Admission with RSVP, must be 21 and up to enter.
