<p><span data-olk-copy-source="MessageBody">Woodcuts by Dürer. Etchings by Rembrandt and Whistler. Screenprints by Warhol. Monotypes by Frankenthaler. Each of these innovations was once a new technology. In this three-session introduction to the history of Western printmaking, you’ll explore the cultural impact of print techniques through close examination of artworks from the Blanton’s collection. Along the way, you’ll learn to identify the major artists and processes that have defined the 600-year tradition of printmaking in Europe and the U.S. </span><span data-olk-copy-source="MessageBody">Led by Assistant Curator of Prints and Drawings Sarah Bane. </span></p>
<p><strong>Sessions will meet in the Blanton&#8217;s H-E-B Study Room; limited to 20 Blanton Members. </strong></p>
