Blanton Gala

The 2017 Blanton Gala celebrated the unveiling of the museum’s renovated and reinstalled permanent collection galleries.  Gala guests received the exclusive opportunity to preview the dynamic new presentation and enjoyed a lively and elegant evening in the galleries. The 2017 Gala also recognized the continuous passion, energy, and generosity of National Leadership Board members Jeanne and Michael L. Klein, whose dedication helped transform the Blanton into the distinguished museum it is today and continues to inspire others. Art on the Edge

In 2017, guests attended Art on the Edge where they danced to live music, enjoyed creative cocktails, and celebrated the reinstallation of the museum’s permanent collection. This lively event attracted local tastemakers, young professionals, creatives, art-lovers, and community leaders. Ticket purchases supported the Blanton’s thought provoking educational programs and dynamic exhibitions featuring art from around the world.
