Music at the Blanton: The American Recorder Society

Recorder players from across North America celebrate March as Play-the-Recorder Month. Enjoy a special performance in our Rapaport atrium by Austin members of the American Recorder Society who will present a short program of music from Renaissance times to the present day. Recorders have 600 years of history and come in many sizes, from miniature to 8-foot giants.

Included with museum admission. The Blanton is located at the intersection of Congress Avenue and Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard.

Paid parking is available in the Brazos Garage on Brazos Street and Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard. Parking is $4; bring your ticket with you to the museum.
