Artist and musician Joan Levy Hepburn will discuss Willem de Kooning’s work with UT Art History professor Richard Shiff, drawing on insights gleaned from her twenty-five-year friendship with the artist. Hepburn’s work focuses on the perceptual experience of color and the relationship between sound and image.
