In 2016, over 600 guests attended Art on the Edge where they danced to live music, enjoyed creative cocktails, and viewed art after-hours, all in support of the Blanton\’s thought provoking educational programs and dynamic exhibitions featuring art from around the world.
In 2017, Art on the Edge will celebrate the reinstallation of the museum\’s permanent collection. The renovated and reconfigured upstairs galleries will feature nearly twice as many works of art on view and offer visitors a dynamic new Blanton experience. In addition, guests will be the first to see Nina Katchadourian: Curiouser, the Blanton\’s mid-career survey of Nina Katchadourian, one of today\’s most exciting contemporary artists. The exhibition will feature photography, video, sculpture, sound art, and performance by this Brooklyn-based artist.
