The pattern extends past the mural to the sidewalk where the musical group poses.

Event Details

Join us for a special performance by Son Jarocho musical project “Güateque Son,” a dynamic Austin-based band specializing in regional folk music from the state of Veracruz, Mexico with a Tejano edge.

Museum admission is always free on Thursdays. On the third Thursday of each month, the museum remains open until 9 pm.

The Blanton is located at the intersection of Congress Avenue and Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard.  Paid parking is available in the Blanton/Brazos Garage on Brazos Street and Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard. Parking is $4; bring your ticket with you to the front desk of the museum.
