The joys and perils of education may seem long ago for some, so let’s refresh memories and enlighten young minds with a nostalgic set of images celebrating our thirst for knowledge. Featuring artists from the United States, Europe and Mexico, enjoy viewing a special selection of works from the 16th to 21st century.
Museum admission is always free on Thursdays. On the third Thursday of each month, the museum remains open until 9 pm.
The Blanton is located at the intersection of Congress Avenue and Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard. Paid parking is available in the Blanton/Brazos Garage on Brazos Street and Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard. Parking is $4; bring your ticket with you to the front desk of the museum for payment and validation.
