WHEN/WHERE: 3–8 p.m. at the Blanton Museum of Art, The University of Texas at Austin, 200 E. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., Austin, TX 78712. Rain or shine.

ART: In The Museum Galleries (Michener Gallery Building)
Butler, Paper Vault, Contemporary Project, Film & Video galleries: Don’t miss our special exhibitions Forces of Nature: Ancient Maya Art from the Los Angeles County Museum of Art and If the Sky Were Orange: Art in the Time of Climate Change. Don’t forget to check out the gallery feature Unbreakable: Feminist Visions from the Gilberto Cárdenas and Dolores Garcia Collection

In The Latin American Art Galleries (Michener Gallery Building)
4pm – Curator’s Choice:
 Vanessa Davidson, Curator of Latin American Art, will discuss the new installation The Uncanny: Magic Realism in Contemporary Latin American Art in the Latin American art galleries. Ask our Visitor Services staff at Check-in for more info on how to join this tour.

In The Capitol Room (Smith Building)
6pm – Art with an Expert:
 Take a deep dive into art, art histories, and more with these hour-long talks presented by distinguished art professionals. Hear Dr. Heather Hurst, Professor of Anthropology at Skidmore College, discuss her work as an archaeological illustrator with Rosario I. Granados, Blanton Marilynn Thoma Curator, Art of the Spanish Americas.

MUSIC: Moody Patio & Meredith Lounge (Michener Gallery Building)
3pm – The DJ Kurupt 
5pm – Nagavalli
6pm – Anupi

PARKING / TRANSPORT: Parking is available in the Brazos Garage. Normal rates can be paid directly at the garage. (Blanton Members get a $4 discounted rate at Check-In, valid all day). Ride-shares can drop off in the new Museum Drop-Off on the east side of the museum. Bicycle racks are available on the south side of Jester Center and on the west side of the museum’s Smith Administration Building. Public transit is encouraged; Cap Metro bus routes 1, 3, 7, 10, 18, 19, 20, 801, and 803 have stops within walking distance.
