The Blanton hosts special events throughout the year to help raise essential funds for the museum and to introduce new people to its mission. Fundraising events provide an opportunity for individuals and corporations to support the Blanton while being part of some of Austin’s best and most memorable moments.

2023 Blanton Gala

In 2023, the Blanton welcomed 350 guests to celebrate the opening of the museum’s New Grounds on Saturday, April 29. This fun and elegant evening on the new Moody Patio raised over $1.3 million to support the Blanton’s exhibitions and programs.

2019 Blanton Gala

In 2019, almost 300 guests celebrated the Blanton’s distinguished leadership in Latin American art at a black-tie fundraising event on Saturday, February 9, 2019. This fun and elegant evening raised funds to support the museum’s inspiring exhibitions and innovative educational programs.
