Join us for this special public program in conjunction with our exhibition Words/Matter: Latin American Art and Language at the Blanton.  Featured artist Alejandro Diaz will discuss the defining spirit and mood of the 1990s in San Antonio, with the emergence of a strong contemporary Latino/a artist community and artist-run spaces.

This event will take place in our Capitol Room, located across the plaza in our Smith building. Paid parking is available in the Brazos Garage on Brazos Street and Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard. Parking is $4; bring your ticket with you to the museum for payment and validation.

Free admission on Thursdays. The Blanton is located at the intersection of Congress Avenue and Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard.
