Join us for this final Midday Music concert before the series takes a break for summer! Student performers from the Butler School of Music’s Jazz Studies program will perform improvised compositions –in small combinations of two or three people at a time–accompanied by readings related to text from our exhibition ’Words/Matter: Latin American Art and Language at the Blanton,’ utilizing both the original Spanish or Portuguese as well as English translation.
This event is included in the price of admission and will take place in our museum atrium. Free for members and UT students, faculty, and staff.
The Blanton is located at the intersection of Congress Avenue and Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard. Paid parking is available in the Brazos Garage on Brazos Street and Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard. Parking is $4; bring your ticket with you to the museum for payment and validation.
