Join the Blanton Museum Shop, along with more than 300 museums—from three continents, five countries, 47 states and the District of Columbia— and partake in Museum Store Sunday when we will be offering 20% off EVERYTHING in-store (excluding sale items)! Members will also receive an additional 10% off all purchases so prepare your shopping bags and explore our shop’s extensive collection including jewelry by local artisans, art supplies, children’s toys and Austin souvenirs.
Museum Store Day coincides with the opening of the Blanton’s new exhibition, The Open Road: Photography and The American Road Trip. Many items inspired by the exhibition, like camera-themed gifts and photography books, will be on sale during Museum Store Sunday. The Blanton is located at the intersection of Congress Avenue and Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard.
Paid parking is available in the Brazos Garage on Brazos Street and Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard. Parking is $4; bring your ticket with you to the museum.
A UT construction project will fence off some paths to the Blanton from 8.16.17 – 1.31.18.
The drop-off area and disabled parking spaces on Jester Circle (between Jester Dorm and the museum) will be inaccessible.
Visitors will still be able to access the museum via the sidewalk on MLK Jr. Blvd, and disabled parking is still available in the Brazos Garage.
