Join us for this special world-premiere performance by Austin-based music collective Density512!.

This will be the first of two concerts inspired by Ellsworth Kelly’s Austin, juxtaposing some of Stravinsky’s earlier work with new Density512 commissions including a new oratorio by Ben Stevenson. Works by Adeliia Faizullina, Akshaya Avril Tucker, and Ben Stonaker will be featured on the Sunday 2/24 program (full event info here → https://bit.ly/2sHjM89). Local pianist, Sasha Malikov will perform Stravinsky’s Concerto for Piano and Winds.

Museum admission is always free on Thursdays. On the third Thursday of each month, the museum remains open until 9 pm.

The Blanton is located at the intersection of Congress Avenue and Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard.  Paid parking is available in the Blanton/Brazos Garage on Brazos Street and Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard. Parking is $4; bring your ticket with you to the front desk of the museum.
