Event Details

Baby, it’s HOT outside…and inside our H-E-B-Print Study Room.

We’re turning up the heat with July’s pop-up print exhibition, which will feature searing images like blacksmith forges, flames, a volcano, Dante’s Inferno, and even sunbathers. The artists include Yayoi Kusama, Robert Rauschenberg, Eugène Delacroix, and Leopoldo Méndez.

Of course, you’ll be viewing these prints in the comfort of the very air-conditioned Blanton, so you can prepare to chill while you experience ’HEAT,’ the pop-up print exhibition for Third Thursday on July 18th (5:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.) or for Fridays Late Till Eight (5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.) on July 19th.

Museum admission is always free on Thursdays. On the third Thursday of each month, the museum remains open until 9 pm.

The Blanton is located at the intersection of Congress Avenue and Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard.  Paid parking is available in the Blanton/Brazos Garage on Brazos Street and Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard. Parking is $4; bring your ticket with you to the front desk of the museum for payment and validation.
