The Blanton Block Party has been canceled but thanks to our sponsors we’re offering free admission all day on Saturday, March 28, 11am-5pm.
In consideration of our community and according to guidelines related to social distancing that The University of Texas at Austin and the City of Austin are following in response to the COVID-19 outbreak, the Blanton Museum has canceled all programming through Sunday, April 19, 2020, including performances, public tours, and talks.
This includes the Blanton Block Party, our free day-to-night celebration of art and community, which draws thousands of multigenerational visitors that engage in high-touch, hands-on art-making. On Saturday, March 28, 2020, thanks to our sponsors, we will offer free admission to all visitors.
Please also note that the Blanton Museum remains open during its regular hours, with CDC-recommended protocols in place.
